GOLDEN, Colo. (Nov. 20, 2025) – The First Judicial District Attorney’s Office has filed ten charges against Matthew Impellitteri in connection with a shooting on November 11 that left a thirty-eight-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the head.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the area of South Highway 285 and Settlers Drive after reports that shots were fired from a Subaru toward another vehicle as it passed. Deputies and investigators later identified and arrested the suspected driver, Matthew Impellitteri.
At a hearing this morning, the defendant waived formal advisement of charges. The court did not take up the defense’s request to modify bond, which remains set at one million dollars cash only.
The next hearing is set for 12/10/25 at 2:00 PM.

The charges are merely legal allegations, and Mr. Impellitteri is presumed innocent of the charges against him unless and until he is proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
