Our Commitment to Accessibility
We are committed to providing equitable access to our services to all constituents. Our ongoing accessibility efforts work towards being in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA criteria. These guidelines not only help make technology accessible to users with sensory, cognitive and mobility disabilities, but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability.
Our efforts are just part of a meaningful change in making all Jefferson County (Jeffco) services inclusive and accessible. We welcome comments on how to improve our technology’s accessibility for users with disabilities and for requests for accommodations to any Jeffco services.
We welcome your feedback about the accessibility of our services, as well as requests for accommodation related to a digital accessibility barrier. Responses will be sent within 15 calendar days of receipt, and any applicable investigations will be completed within 90 calendar days.
Please complete our digital accessibility request form or call us at 303-271-8455. Users who need accessibility assistance can also contact us by phone through the Federal Information Relay Service at 1-800-877-8339 for TTY/Voice communication.
