The “On-Call” and “Call-Off” notification systems are designed to help victims and witnesses avoid unwarranted trips and long waits at the courthouse.
On-Call System
A victim or witness can receive alerts regarding jury trials by providing their Victim Witness Specialist with a phone number where they can be reached and by indicating how long it will take to travel to the Jefferson County Administration and Courts Building.
The On-Call system is for jury trials only. To receive notifications regarding other court proceedings, victims and witnesses should contact the Victim Witness Specialist assigned to their case.
Call-Off System
Victim Witness staff regularly use the “call-off” system to notify victims and witnesses when cases are resolved or continued.
